Anyone who knows me will realise this time of year brings out my most misanthropic side. From the awful music which gets played everywhere you go to the crass commercialism and sheer wastefulness of it all, the whole things get me down.

So I'd like to start here an alternative Christmas playlist as an antidote to all of the sickening schmaltzy guff we get rammed down our earholes in every public place.
