Battery pack

Looking for one to power my Pi and HRT DAC.

A couple of questions, can I leave it permanently attached to the mains and still benefit from using? and could someone please tell me about the 'grain of wheat bulb' thingy that I think I'll need to stop it powering off.

Hi Bill, not sure about it being the AOS battery of choice, but it's certainly mine, I have 3! :)

2 on Pi DAC duties, and one for general use, FYI the 20K one gets sold out pretty quickly

I leave my Pi ones plugged in 24/7, along with the Pis, and one still gets the benefit without the auto off issues...

P.S. I think the 'grain of wheat bulb' thingy, may relate to its use with a Beresford DAC (I could be wrong), something about the DAC going into standby mode, and hence the battery also

Hi Bill, my Anker battery arrived yesterday, i've set it up today to run my Caiman MK2 and Capella.
Been running over two hours without issue, no 'grain of wheat bulb' needed.

The bulb thing was for the previous version of the battery when using it with anything which consumes less power than it's auto shut off feature assumes to mean nothing is plugged in. The Bushmaster, maybe Caiman, is too power efficient for it so the battery shuts down.

The battery arrived today and I have just plugged in after a few hours charging to 100%.
First impressions are very good, excellent value at £39!
No auto switch off as yet.
