Potential Tannoy 615 MK2 Problem

Hi Guys

On trawling through the net i came across a driver 2033 that had a white split in it and is a course for concern my 615's both have them in each driver appear to work fine by me no distortion , loss of output ETC question is are they on the verge of becoming faulty :doh: . Is their any need to worry the last owner said they were sitting for 10 years unused :rolleyes::scratch: or were they indeed designed this way?

I wouldn't worry about thread deletion Dan. This could be of use to others.

The white line in question is on the coil former attached to the back of the cone central radius and is around the tweeter horn. It looks a little odd, but is normal.
