What exactly is it that people find so good about Croft amps? I'm simply not getting it. I keep hearing them and keep being underwhelmed by them. Must be just my hearing and not my flavour?
Lol... You heard my Croft preamp at NEBO, in Rich and yours system... Remember that bit when your PL-71 *really* started to sing? That's was the Croft (in conjunction with Ali's superb modded Denon head amp)! :eyebrows: ;)
Maybe you were too pished to remember? :D

Wasn't sure if I could mention them:) Looks like a very different variation of yours Marco as it uses ECC83,s and 12BH7 valves so no big octal valves :scratch:
Has a separate PSU so looks a bit like a predessor to the current Croft 25RS.
I think it has some interesting caps in it - not sure what they are?
Yeah, it certainly is very different from mine... Dunno what the two big yellow caps are, or the long thin grey ones are in the middle, and to the right of them, or they could be resistors. But the three black caps at the end, to the far right, are standard PSU caps that Glenn uses.
Still, with a nice beefy off board PSU like that, and no doubt a superb circuit, all put into a nice casing, IMO, it's certainly worth the asking price.

That Elite is mine on the wam - I'll update with more info about it, but will need to post it here for sale before I do, else I'm sure Marco will call me a cheeky so and so if I don't.
Really busy at the moment, but quickly - there are very, very few Elite's in existence, I think there are 2 in Denmark that have been modified heavily but not by Glenn.
