Hiya all, I've just been given a Linn Basik LV X tonearm which looks to be in great shape...However, it is missing the 3 mounting bolts!!
Does anyone know where I can get some or know the thread size of the bolt holes?? It's going to be mounted on my GL75 so they don't have to be long - just through the base plate :)

As the arm is Japanese, the bolts are likely to be metric. Why not pop into your nearest £1 shop and buy one of those boxes of mixed size metric bolts they usually sell. Whichever fits is the right size. They may even be good enough to use. Don't over tighten them.

The LV-X is not an ideal match to MC or lower compliance cartridges as it is a lowish mass design. You can bung a bit of extra weight on at the headshell though to compensate.

Cheers Geoff, sounds like a plan....I'm not quite ready for MC carts - quite happy with MM at the mo :) :)
