Hi guys, I helped someone with his auction on eBay and I think he now thinks i'm a fount of hifi knowledge which I'm not really

Anyway, his enquiry is as below, can anyone confirm and I'll let him know.

Hi, I have sold the Mission for £136 which pleases me. I have a question about
B&W DM610. The literature states that the nominal impedance is 4ohm suitable for amplifiers with 30-150W output continuous into 4ohm (typically 20-100W into 8ohm) on undistorted speech and music programme. Is it ok for them to be used with Audiolab 8000S RATED OUTPUT 60W (18 dbW) per channel into rated load impedance (8ohm) with both channels driven.
The buyer of the Audiolab may want the BandW speakers ( it sounds as if he would have taken Mission if he had seen them in time) but I want to be sure they are suitable as they were used with a Technics system not the Audiolab. My comprehension of the terminology is minimal but suggests they are OK. Finally and no need to answer this. Any idea of a price? they are in fair condition and have the stands. £50????
Thanks so much Peter

Yeah. I've had a couple like that.

I reckon the Audiolab will be fine with the B&Ws if they're working OK. Can't say about the price though.
