Just wanted to take the opportunity to say "hello". My real name is Mike and I have come from Hifi Wigwam where I have been a member for a year or so; from what I have seen so far this seems to have the same friendly helpful atmosphere as the Wam, which is a very good thing :) !

My system, for now at least, is:

Technics SL-1200/Rega RB250/AT-120E
Rega Fono
Cyrus 6vs2
and Revolver R33 speakers

The Technics has changed somewhat over the last couple of years; it was originally bought ready modified with RB300 and tungsten weight, Origin Live armplate, and Isonoe feet. The RB300 was then replaced with a RB250 with Michell Tecnoweight, which was then replaced with Audio Origami RB251 with rewire, foam fill, and brass weight. The Isonoes and AO were sold about 6 months ago and it is now running a stock RB250 and standard feet. Although this is a backwards step in the short term, in the long term I am planning on fitting either a Jelco SA-750 or SME 309 as I have decided I would like to move away from Rega arms entirely and take things a bit more 'upmarket'. Then of course there is the PSU ...

Sorry I couldn't reply sooner, but sadly The Real World has kept me preoccupied lately :( . Music wise I suppose my tastes are pretty broad, my two big loves being Soul and Funk (especially of the 70s and 80s) and Heavy Metal (a hangover from my youth :smoking:), but really I like any good music which is played with passion and heart. I have also been getting into Jazz recently, but more Alice Coltrane than Kenny G ...

I'll try and sort out system pics when I'm a bit more organised, although things may be changing soon!

Hello Mike, sorry I missed your initial post and didn't say hi then - enjoy the forum.

Good evening.
Do not attempt to adjust your radio, there is nothing wrong.
We have taken control as to bring you this special show.
We will return it to you as soon as you are grooving.

it's been a little bid mad here the last few days, but is usually a much saner place - I think normal service has just about resumed! Have fun!
