Hello everyone,

I am newbie in headphones world and need a recommendation for a good amplification .
I have been playing with IFI IDSD Micro. Kinda like it, but it lacks some power.
Still looking for something more out of head experience through headphone.
I think, the correct description should be three-dimensional, holographic presentation.

I been reeding lost of chats on web. However I've lost my track at this point... Simply need good recommendations.
Basically, I want amp suited well for Sennheiser HD800: good dynamics, body, resolution and deep, holographic, 3D soundstage with pinpoint imaging.

Should I look for dual mono, tube or all in one tube/solid state amp?

Your suggestions are very welcome?

Thank you in advance.

Have a look at the Beresford Capella. I run a variety of cans but have settled on 700s. Bang for buck it will be hard to beat. Running it on a battery is a cheap upgrade well worth doing.

The adjustments it offers let you tune it to your cans and to some extent your personal sonic taste.

Ticks all the boxes regards what you are after sonically-don't let the affordable price get in the road, its performance is outstanding.

One caveat i havent tried it with 800s BUT with simple adjustments it gets the very best out of my 650s/700s. I know that Stan the designer has a wide variety of cans including 800s so should be able to give you a steer setting wise.
