First impressions Bushmaster Mk II

Hooked it up to my vastly simplified system (Audiolab 8000A and Rogers Studio 1) and have just done a quick test on two known tracks that I was very familiar with via vinyl.

Blue Nile- Walk Across the Rooftops
Rickie Lee Jones- We Belong Together

both on weedy mp3 format 256kbs and 192kbs

First impressions are frankly astonishing.

Great soundstage and dynamics. Clean and exciting.

Makes me feel more comfortable in moving away from vinyl.

I have (had) maybe 400 albums on vinyl compared to more than 3000 digital.

Before this week I thought mp3 was just a necessary evil.

Will now explore a bit of Flac

Same here,the BMII really made my spotify premium worth every penny,don't listen to much vinyl these days....:eek::)

I received my BMII a couple of days ago and echo the findings of you guys too. Bass is tightened up considerably and everything just falls into place, smooth and detailed , there is nothing negative at all. Great bit of kit especially at it's price.
