I've never had a battered sausage...maybe I am missing out :)

There is however an amazing place called "Mick's Monster Burger's" located on Portsdown Hill, which overlooks the whole of Portsmouth, that does the most amazing chips, we call them 'Hill Chips'... they are the best chips ever and only £2.10 for a huge bag which feeds 2 people. They also do the most amazing burgers which are also on the huge side ;)

I quite like battered haggis ... when I'm north of the boarder.

There used to be a wonderful butchers opposite the old fire station in the middle of Bristol. Packards I think. Did the most wonderful sausages. I loved their bratwurst.
