What version of Araldite

What version of araldite is best for the Mike New base plate as there seem to be hundreds?

Also when glueing it in place I presume you use the 3 bearing screws to hold it in place while it's drying because if not it may not end up level or centred perfectly.

Thought about this - Araldite rapid steel adhesive.

Hi Andrew, I'm almost certain it was Araldite extra strong that Mike recommended http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Araldite-Standard-24ml-Syringe-Epoxy-Extra-Strong-Adhesive-Glue-Solvent-Free-/161680665242?hash=item25a4eb2a9a:m:mw8FEyY75YEYkpu Zb4jCBYA and not the extra strong rapid version. The one here is what I bought and used, no probs at all - very strong, very good. :)

When you done yours, i assume once you have filed of the screw holes so the plate is flush do you then sand down the base of the deck or just glue on to the painted surface, also do the bearing screws hold everything in place while it's drying?

I will email you the fitting Instructions.

The epoxy to use is Araldite High Strength commonly available at most hardware stores.
