I thought it was time 2 let you all know again you can get quality hifi for very little outlay
As some may have seen today I acquired a Pioneer stereo receiver model SX-450 for the amazing price of £6 yes six pounds , its very dirty ( Not in a sexual way other than looks :eyebrows: )
Ever the optimist I waited for it 2 dry out as it was covered in due , Well I have just plugged it into 2 different sauces
First was a heading for the skip cassette deck Pioneer CTF 4040 that was offered for free by Mike P on Pink Fish so as I have a soft spot for old hifi I let it come and live with me :)
At the moment we have 1 sauce free, and SX-450 total cost = £6
I also use a BrAun P2 TT as a second sauce used with the original stylus , god knows how many hours on it , Still working fine TT cost when split from the system cost probably around £25
Now the total is £31
Add in some ebay qed 79 strand speaker cables bagged for £10 posted :eyebrows:
The total is now £41
And lastly a pair of speakers £20 for the booty ( Goodmans )
Total system price is £61
Oh hold on I did not add in the cassette at 20p and a LP at 50p
£61.70
And for £61.70 it sounds bloody AMAZING
So GET YOU BUTTS OUT OF BED AND GO A HUNTING :D, The HUNT is amazing fun as well and some keep fit ;) , you never know whats in the next row
Did I say I LOVE BOOT SALES
:)
