Calling on the "collective" again, I own a pair of Rega RS3 speakers and they suit my man cave perfectly!! After checking the 'spec sheet again, I see that the nominal impedance is 6 ohms - now the question is, most amps have speaker outputs of 4 ohm & 8 ohm (My nad c370 does as well) I have them connected on the 4 ohm posts - is that correct and the best or would they be better running on the 8 ohm posts??? Asking as I don't want to "hurt" my speakers

You won't 'hurt' anything unless you whack the volume up to ear-speaker damaging levels I think. Other than that, just enjoy the bloody music coming out of them and ignore bits of paper - in this instance anyway  :respect:
