Really low hours 796. If one had the skills and time, this would be a cracker.

You think you could get it in the boot of your car?

Which machine are you referring to, Alan? You haven't supplied a link to an ebay listing....

Marco.

Marco, it's a Studer A80 RC 1/4 inch mastering deck on the Studer trolley in excellent condition with really low hours.

Cheers - and a lovely thing it is! However, how did you know that's what Alan was referring to?

Did he transmit a telepathic code, only recognisable by R2R fans? ;)

All he said was "I love this machine", but didn't qualify it with a description or a link to where it could be seen, so how did you know what the "this" he was referring to was....?

Marco.

LOL thanks Grant
Marko sorry for being a bit vague but I'm glad the penny has dropped now :D

A trip over to holland would not stop me buying this if funds permitted and could think of yet another cock and bull story to get SWIMBO approval.:D

A nice machine - very nice.....formerly owned by Geoff Wayne.

A relatively simple (apparently) fault that you would need a full manual to diagnose.

A commercial engineer would charge around £1800 to repair it which would be more than worthwhile.
