Yep a snip! I was hoping for offers in the £50+ area for the pair of boxed B200A SP1014's I had for sale briefly yesterday on here (and tuned down an offer of £30 not including P+P) so a bargain to be had here for someone.

I don't think B200's are fetching high prices lately, may change when they become rarer, I'm not really in the market for buying or selling, but have noticed the prices when looking for B110's.

The B200 SP1036's are nice, sound similar to the SP1014's, I think that the main difference is an aluminium voice coil, instead of the usual copper. Not 100% sure of this though.

With respect, prices vary a lot for B200s depending on the model number, and immaculate matched pairs are worth a helluva more than equivalent scruffy pairs or singles. I can't comment on the SP1036 but the 1063 (as per the OP's) is a totally different animal to the 1014. Loads more bass and SPL and less finesse. It's a different animal for a very different job.

Agreed, the 1063 has a worse midrange, thought that they would be an upgrade for the SP1014's in my home built speakers, but no. B200 + Celestion HF1300 + Coles 4001G.

I comparing price of B200's with B110's, B110's are expensive because of the LS3/5a.

Think its a fair price for these/ good ones like this are worth having if you have any speakers with them in. My kefs use them, and I have a spare pair

Absolutely, are yours the same? Thought only the Corelli used these SP1063's. Incidentally, I have two pairs of Corellis, not bad speakers.

I found that in general, B200's with smooth cone coating (possibly sprayed), sound worse that the ones with rough hand painted coating.

20 years old roughly... They can happily use these one too or even 3 pointers if needed.. The Cara is a superb speaker and very underated. dont do silly bass but imo ts just right. If I didnt have 3 pairs of full range ones I use now I would buy these as they are great value and in great nick. They can only go up in value:)
