Denon PMA450

After seeing the above amp mentioned in dispatches a few times, one happened to come up local to me on the bay for a cheap enough price to take a punt. I've done a bit of googling in the meantime and its not a model that is seen very much, I cant find a manual, very few reviews, in fact hardly any mention of it anywhere..... Anyone here know much about them or have one, I'm especially interested if a few minor tweaks (re-caps etc) can yield a big improvement. Also, anyone know if the phono stage is any good for an MM (Rega Bias2) cart?

It should be pretty nice, Denon amps tend to be and their phono stages are decent too.

Tried it briefly fed from a phone... Sounds promising

Used the phono stage yesterday. Not bad but a bit strident. May try the tape outs into the main rig to see how that goes.
