I quite fancy one at some point but I'm an R2R numpty. Where does this stack up in hierarchy against an Akai GX 635D (which was what I was sort of gravitating towards)?

I'd like one too but I bet the reserve on that will be bonkers. Anyway, I'd rather not go with a semi pro deck these days and just hangfire for something 'really' spesh!

I couldn't afford one when I was a "kid" and they don't seem to be getting any cheaper.

Trouble is this one's all the way down the 'orrible M40, then half way round the 'orrible M25 and then a bit further on until I hit the sea. Lot of miles and a lot of cash when I don't know what it sounds like.

Well, the reserve was certainly in excess of £380 as it didn't sell. It's up for another go.

Back in the summer when I was umming 'n arring there were loads of what seemed like good R2R's around. Not so many for the last month or so.

That'll teach me.
