The Benz MC20E2-L was a bit of budget classic, I think it retailed around 150 GBP back when they still made it. It's a low compliance LOMC with a hefty 0.5mV output featuring a .3x.7 elliptical stylus in a very ugly, very bright red plastic body. Sounds pretty nice though and a good option for getting a taste of the moving coil sound. It's worth noting the spec for loading is >400ohms and don't bother going much lower than that, it won't sound good - at least didn't in my system. Works a treat with a 1:10 step up transformer into a 47k phono input. I got this second hand from a local hifishop a year or two ago, they said they had examined it under a microscope and estimated very low usage. I haven't put much hours on it myself, maybe 100 at most since this cart hooked me into MC and I upgraded to Ortofon MC10 Supreme pretty soon after I got this one. The cantilever is straight with no kinks. Comes in original box & with a 3g weight, but no other accessories. Asking for £65 shipped by the cheapest option to UK (maxi letter, I don't think it includes tracking), or £75 sent as a small parcel with full tracking information.
Also for sale is a Tenorel T-2001ED, as far as I know the body is identical to the Goldring G-800 and styli are interchangeable. I have 5 styli for this, 3 originals (with additional pfeifer branding but from the looks of it they seem to be original styli with an added pfeifer logo) which have a .2x.7 elliptical stylus (seems nude to me?) and 2 aftermarket conicals, the other one has unknown hours but sounds pretty nice, the other is practically unused and sounds like crap. 2 of the original styli are unused and 1 has very low hours. Asking for 80 GBP for the whole lot economy shipped, again a bit more if you want tracking. I can also sell the elliptical styli separately for 25 GBP a pop shipped if no one is interested in getting the whole lot.
