Some free gear

Ok so here are a few things i don't want / need anymore, they're all free to good homes.

Marantz SR5400 Receiver in silver in very good condition

Polk Audio reference centre speaker in great condition

REL Q50 sub needs the cone refoamed

Like i said all free you just have to pick em up and the photo of the sub was one from when i bought it, and now the foam is gone and in need of replacement

I've looked up the Marantz AV amplifier..and it looks a very nice capable piece of kit...and very easy on the eyes too...too far for me..and saying that...I'd get shot off of her in doors..might have a clean out myself soon...maybe..perhaps..possibly...

If I arranged and paid for a courier would you be able to pack this amp for a journey down too London ?

Its way 2 many miles for me re collecting personally :)

Ok i might consider posting unless someone wants to collect, my problem is packaging i.e. i don't have any.

and yes it has a genuine Marantz remote and i think i might even have uploaded the instruction book onto this fair website back in the day, so you'll be able to figure out how it works, believe me A/V receivers are complicated even the simple ones so it pays to read the instructions as they will guide you on the best set up for your room, speakers etc.

I have a big box and internal packing I could send you , its the box Adam used when he returned my Albany AP4 pre amp after repairing it ,
I could send a roll of packing tape as well

So this is how it stands,

steve w has just picked up the centre speaker
Oddball has arranged for his mate to pick up the amp

to everybody else, i'm sorry, my criteria for giving stuff away is
a. do i need to get off my arse to post stuff, if the answer is yes then unless no one else wants the gear you're not likely in the running
b. 1st to pm me and arrange a pick up time date wins.

btw I still have the REL sub in need of a new home and a new foam
