WTD: Cheap CD Player - urgent.

Hi All

Rather predictably, the CD player I bought from the audio jumble last week also doesn't work and joins the bloody speakers in the bin (the amp is v kindly being looked at by a wamer)

So I need a CD player that just works and is v cheap. I really can't spend anymore than £20 all in. I know it's not likely there is anything out there for that price, but hope springs eternal.

Anything that is v local to Kidderminster or Lewes Sussex would be great as none of the budget would be on post.

Cosmetics, not really important.

If it's quick and easy you want visit a few local second hand places like cash converters and similar also your nearest British Heart Foundation electrical and furniture shop.
At the least you should find a DVD player and probably a CD player or two.

Get on Gumtree for a cheapie. I did a few months ago when my main CDP was away being repaired. I bought a Harman Kardon DVD31 player off Gumtree
for a tenner, picked it up myself to make sure it wasn't a dud, and it was tremendous, just perfect for the 4 or 5 weeks my CDP was away. Sold it on for the same money dead easy.
