View Full Version : Re-installing armboard without dismantling everything

I'm swapping over the standard mount for my Jelco for my new Ammonite audio one.

I've removed the arm and the only way to remove the collar was to take out the armboard too.

Now, unfortunately, I cannot get the armboard back in because the nuts underneath the bolts that go through the armboard are just free spinning.

I don't want to have to dismantle the whole turntable just to put the armboard back.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Dunno what it looks like but could you fit and glue the nuts or countersink them so they stay in place and can be tightened from top only?

Thanks, that did the trick. What I did was squeeze some bostick in there, making it just tacky enough to hold the nuts in place while I tightened them up.
