FS: Older style Russ Andrews 6-way Mains Block

Due to a shift around, this is surplus to requirements. It's a good quality block, upgraded with internal kimber wiring. It has been useful, given the rather erratic mains quality in rural Herefordshire.

An eight gang version has just gone for £117 + postage on ebay.

Very good condition, with no obvious marks.

Back in the late 90's and just before RA took all sales in-house, I did a stint back at KJ W1. The mains in London's west end was terrible for audio and we used these blocks extensively when demming big systems (Krell, Unison Research etc...). The difference these blocks made to bass reproduction was clearly audible EVERY TIME and made the difference between boomy 'murk' and people playing 'tunes' on bass instruments.

If you suspect your mains os a bit iffy, I'd have recommended these at £200. For this price, it's ESSENTIAL and better than a small capacity regenerator powering a whole system in my book!
