At the price of recorded tape these days I'm not surprised, I'd love a r2r but the cost of music is a major put off [emoji20] plus any I've seen for sale seems to be mostly classical, jazz or blues which I don't listen to.

After hearing Alans R2R at NEBO5 I think it trounced every other source. And it was playing digital recordings:scratch:

Why thank you Jim, Im flattered as there was some cracking music played on that event especially Marcos 1210 through your Croft pre and nic phono:eyebrows:
What I would say is at home I have very good sources from Vinyl, Digital and tape formats and they all sound excellent but 95% of my listening is Via R2R and it just does it for me ;) :scratch:
