I've seen that advert too. I must say that £45 per tape plus P&P is pretty steep. That's more than one would pay for a brand new 1100m reel of RMG (BASF/EMTEC) LPR35 on a metal NAB reel. Although the PEM 368 was a pretty good tape, it hasn't been in production for at least 15 years. SSS wasn't, as far as I know, a major issue, but why take the chance, when you can buy a brand new reel of tape for less money!

I agree Charlie, and I think looking at the boxes, that this is older than that. 20 years ago I was using PEM 468 which I think superseded 368 in it was in a much more modern looking box

Thomann is very good value for new tape, esp RMG (formerly Emtec/BASF). They turn their stock over really quickly, so it's always new production. Sometimes, there's a wait on Thomann, whilst they wait for another delivery of fresh tape. Otherwise Tapecity in the UK is very reliable supplier, albeit a tad more expensive than Thomann (which is like an european music amazon)
