ive seen a sansui 5900 tuner guy wants £30 for it black , is that a fair price or is it a money pit

About right, and if no postage then you'll score if its in good nick. Last one on ebay sold for about that from the States and you had to add 30 for postage

i can collect i have an arcam 5 a member kindly sent me for free i just wondered what a vintage tuner was like in comparison

a good aerial and it should sound good, Sansui stuff is good
