A bunch of half decent RCA/phono leads and some good speaker cable with banana plugs on I reckon. Don't buy QED Silver Anniversary!

There's loads of choice. Straight Wire interconnects sound very good for not too much money, bit scarce though.

Usually have a red or black theme. Sometimes just a red band on the plug etc.
First you need to see how many you need then hiw much you have to spend. Divide and youll have an idea whats available for you. Ebay will give u some udea as to price. Try second hand and get better for less

5 sets of 2 if you intend recording otherwise 4 sets. There are some decent chesp ones on ebay but avoid the red n white or black n white ones like you get free when you buy something. They are garbage
Second hand youll get some for about £10 a set.
The black ones with silver plugs are ok for the money..pretty cheap. Ive got some for testing. A few quid a set

4 stereo leads or 4 stereo pairs by the sound of it.

Stereo pair:

Stereo lead (joined cables):

And a speaker lead with banana plugs:

They don't all look like these. Colours vary and so do plug styles.
