Ok I have gone and pulled the trigger and ordered one direct from Mike. I emailed him and he has two in the pipeline (one is mine now ) These maybe the last two left made by a very talented engineer.

Hi Folks,
When Glen first enquired about getting a Platter from me he indicated that he would get around to buying
one about December time. I said that I had two which have been partially machined and available for delivery.
However depending on future sales I may not be in a position to make any more.
The enthusiastic interest in all things SL1200 has greatly reduced in the last 6 months to the point where I have not delivered
any Bearings for the last 3 months.
In fact I do not currently have any in stock and have only 4 housings available for completion, these I believe will be the last ones.

I know that other people in the upgrade market are experiencing the same and probably have a lot of components in stock
which is costing them money.
I am now machining ETP Platters on a two-off basis as this keeps costs down. However there will come a time when this is no longer economically practical.

Hi Mike

Thank you for the clarification on where things stand currently.
