Hi,

decided to try and reduce the boominess of my TT plinth as it really reverbs through the speakers if you tap it on the top surface of the plinth.

Dynamat

I only fitted some Dynamat soundproofing to the plinth underneath where the main Board sits, however I now realise I should have also done the sides and on the hardboard bottom cover to to sort of seal the whole inside if you know what I mean, and this would have sealed the inside completely with the Dynamat, at the moment is still booms at bit when tapped but is does seem to have helped as the sound has slightly improved, I'm sure it will only get better once I do the whole of the inside.
