I have recently bought an Exposure xv amp.
This was recently re capped and is in pristine condition.
I plugged the Usher S520 speakers and straight away I noticed a big difference from the resident Nait 2.*
The Exposure has much more authority, bass is extremely well controlled and there is a general feeling of sofistication that the little Nait 2 cannot achieve.
Straight away I was blown away with it.
However the Exposure tends to sound a bit too dark. The mids on the Nait for me give me an impression of lifeliness that I cannot get on the Exposure.
Maybe it's just me as I have had Nait for many years.
Also my speakers mids come alive with the Nait but are darker on the Exposure.
Maybe the Exposure deserves better speakers?
What speakers wor well with the XV in a small room?
