That is a beautiful and well thought out system you have there Paolo. Very nice!
I see that you are selling the Bellavista turntable; are you planning on replacing or upgrading it? I had a brief listen to the two new Goldnote decks, the Mediterraneo and the Giglio and I was quite impressed.

Thanks,

I'm relocating very far with my things going around with mixed transports, in a container...
I'm selling my 2 TT: the Goldenote and the Technics.
I do not believe they will have high probability to reach me in good conditions... :(
Yes, I think I will buy again a TT in few months, beginning of next year in worst case.
I do not have a clear idea, maybe again Gold Note or maybe Oracle Delphi or Mitchell Gyro. I will have to see my new home and what will be available locally.
I didn't see Med and Giglio in person but I saw the Bellagio Conquest.... WOW! :)

Hello Paolo
Looks like you have settled in after the move
Great looking system i like the GX300's what are the other Monitor Audio speakers are they the silver 8's? i guess you went from the Silver 8 's to to gold GX300 ,i bet that was a nice improvement
I am also a big fan of the TQ Black

Hi Trev,

yes, very happy to have a better place for my stuff.
The former MA were the Silver 10. I must say that they are excellent. Even after selling them I auditioned several other speakers (Tannoy, QEF Q and R, Sonus Faber Venere, ....) and in terms of quality/price ratio they are by far much better.
The Gold are surely better but I believe that right now they are the weakest component of the system.
I am thinking to make a large investment in Sonus Faber Olympica III.
Non 100% sure, but probably yes.

What I can also say is that the old Krell KSA100S was wonderful and still much better than most of current amps. I'm still struggling to understand if the Pass is better or not. :)

I know what you mean about the MA's regarding Quality/price i had the RX8s and they also had become the weakest link in my system and i demo'd some B&W's and some Focal speakers and i opted to stick with Monitor Audio and bought the Platinums which i am over the moon with

I have to say the Sonus Faber sound a great choice too

Happy listening

Well...MA is usually an all round speaker with a well set pricing.
I did almost all the line: Bronze for hometheatre, then moved back to stereo with Silver, then Gold.

But in the end...yesterday I ordered the Olympica III <3
And now I'll have to sell the MA ... Yesterday a gentleman called me, we found immediately an agreement, but then the wife set a requirement: black! (mine are bubinga....damn! hahah)
