The right channel attenuator on my Croft Micro25R is causing the volume on that channel to drop off occasionally. A quick wiggle and it's back. It's starting to annoy me now! Can anybody tell me whether it's worth putting in something better on both channels? Has anybody done this with their Micro25?

Are these the in line attenuators? If yes, most likely a bad connection in the interconnect you have on that attenuator I would think - have you tried swapping them over?

Bernie, I use a Croft Micro 25 Basic and I have never had a problem with the pots on my preamp but of course that doesn't mean to say I won't at some point in the future. Wish I could be of help.

Ah, you're talking about one of the volume pots itself? Sorry :)

'Ask Glenn' is my recommendation.
