Hi, my real name is Graham, I live in Leek, in the Staffordshire Moorlands in England.
a friend pointed me to this forum, initially because of a list of vinyl which someone was selling.
I have a mix of Vinyl and CDs, possibly as many as 1,000 in total, though I'm not sure. Taste is varied, any from 6o's onwards, Beatles, Stones, Grateful Dead, 13th Floor Elevators, Jefferson Airplane, Cream, etc, through Hawkwind, Gong, Rush, Rainbow, McCartney, then REM The Church (and all things MWP, Kilbey and Co, absolutely anything connected to them, however tentatively) Stone Roses, System 7, Orb, Ozric Tentacles, Eat Static, Banco Da Gaia.....and on it goes.
I have what I like to think is a reasonable system, though it only gets upgraded as and when there is spare cash, or when absolutely necessary. So at present there's a ProJect 6RPM c/w Ortofon 520 MK I. Marantz PM7200 Amp, Arcam Alpha Plus CD, and Mission 771 Speakers. Also various AV and streaming gadgets (lots of TIVOs), and other bits of previously used, but now redundant kit.
Looking forward to dropping in here from time to time.
