Had this unit a while now and decided to see if I could fix it

The unit is a TEAC Z-5000 Master cassette deck , Its packed with :eek:

It needed a belt that I ordered from Germany

It IS my best sounding cassette player by far and the most advanced :eyebrows:

Another one rescued and now up and running

Next up will be the Sansui , I have the belt kit for it already , May have a go today :D

That's a quality unt. Of course back in the 1980s the real benchmark for comparing tape decks was how long the level meters were....
