View Full Version : Isolating A Tube Amp
Today I received four SDS Isofeet, I already have a IsoPlatMat for my turntable and I am very happy with it. As my Jolida tube amp sits atop a 3/4", 25lb. piece of marble my question is, Where should I place the Isofeet. My thought for the greatest effect, is to allow the amp to remain coupled to the marble and place the Isofeet beneath the marble and therefore isolate the greater mass. Just my thought, physics me prove that I am wrong.

Cheers,
I would try both and see what is best.
I have a set of the Isofeet under the Isonoes on my SL1200. It's a combination that works very well.

I'm fancying some of these I'd be really interested in the results. I'd like them for my turntable and spikes on my speaker stands.
