[FS] Densen DM20 pre-amp

I know I'm going to regret this... not many of these come up for grabs, but as its sitting in the spare room, I'd much rather it be sat on a rack giving its new owner as much enjoyment as it did for me. This example is in full working order and very good external condition with both control knobs having been cleaned and re-plated (costing £100). There is a minor mark on the back rear corner - see the photo below - but this of course has no effect whatsoever on its operation and isn't visible when rack mounted. There were only 500 of these Danish beauties made (this is No.463) and as you can see from the last image, she has been away to Densen in Denmark and benefited from a full recap and service costing 2900DK (£280+).

A .pdf of the Densen owners manual can be found here (http://densen.dk/reviews/DM_owners_manual.pdf) where the full spec for the DM20 can be found. Please note though that this example doesn't have a dedicated DP-01 or DP-02 inputs for use with MC or MM turntables, so as was the case when I had my LP12, you'll need a dedicated phono amp or SUT when attaching your record deck.

Yes indeed Brian... Gaz and I have shared our experiences of these super pre-amps and I'm sure that at some stage after its gone I'm gonna regret selling her... but as I'm thoroughly enjoying the AudioNote kit which has replaced it, I'd just love somebody here to take this off my hands and get as much enjoyment out of it as I did, safe in the knowledge that its got a clean bill of health from Densen and should provide a lifetimes service :)

Cracking amp...
with the full recap and new Transformers fitted its practically brand new.
Casework and knobs in great nick too. Serious bargain at the selling price, this is a very high end preamp.

Currently using mine with a Mini-1 T-Amp (seriously!) as a power amp and it sounds wonderful.
Heard my DM20 with a "proper" solid state poweramp and it was night and fay better than the Mini-1.

Hook something decent to power it and your away.
