I managed to track down my old pair of Kord Tornado speakers a month or so back, and been playing with them again but realistically I won't really use them in the long term. I don't really want to have too much kit lying around doing nothing so I am looking to move these on.

I would be interested in a sale for £260 or a swap for some Omnidirectional speakers such as Decware ERR or stuff like Shahinian/Larsen. Possibly anything like the Vandersteen 1C and such too (not Omni I know..). Basically anything interesting that will work near rear walls and have big soundstage.

That's a very good price Rob. I reckon just a pair of the bass drivers would cost a sight more. The cabinets look very nicely made and solid.

Yes the cabinets are very well made, apart from the couple of extra holes round the tweeters so the Scanspeak D2905/9300 upgrade tweeters fit (4 bolt holes rather than 3).
The Volt drivers are the older BM220 model, but acording to Wilmslow Audio and Volt, basically the same as the current BM220.8 @ £180/ea.

I'm going up to Scarborough/Lincolnshire on the 12th/13th if that helps anyone with delivery.

Rob, forgive me if I missed something obvious in your listing, but if the external crossover is not included, which crossovers are included?

See you at Colin's.:)

Hi Rick,
Sorry for the clarification, the original crossovers that were designed for the speakers are connected and being used.
I have the cables/connectors and Component Spec/Design for the upgraded crossovers to go with the upgraded Scanspeak D2905/9300 tweeters (which are included too).
See you at the weekend!
