Me and the missus are visiting Prague in late November for 3 or 4 nights. Advice on where to visit and good places to eat would be much appreciated . Ta .

Hi Brian,

I have been there quite a bit and was lucky to work there for a short while.

I would recommend that you get a taxi up to the castle and then walk down from the castle over Charles bridge. The whole experience and panaroma of Prague will be experienced from this perspective and is simple stunning!

I cannot recommend hotels but try and get one central location

The torture museum is a must!!

Restaurants - Pravada and Kampa park if its still there.

Oh yes =- the large clock in the main square is worth watching as it does some interesting things - find out the time when its in action:eyebrows:

Enjoy!

Brewery tour. I've never been but let's face it you can't go wrong with a brewery tour.

I went there as part of a large stag party a few years ago...

I can recall the beer was excellent and the fact that as a group we attracted a permanent entourage of seemingly every drug dealer, pimp, tout and pickpocket the city had.

I'm sure that if you're there with a partner it will be quite a different deal. I did manage to get away from the crowd for a short while and crossed the bridge into a picturesque part of the town which looked much nicer than where we were staying in the main square. Also I ate an excellent beef goulash which helped the recovery, avoid those sausage sellers on the street though. Some of the lads ate those in desperation and were sick as dogs:lol:
