You'l be lucky, as they fetch good money, the few that come along.

Don't ignore a 66 if you see one on the way. They're a bit more spacious in reproduction, if not quite as "driving." The 77 is unfairly ignored as well and the phono stage was the best of them all IMO.

Yes, I know all Quad's amps were supposed to sound the same, and in a way they did. It's just those little feelings that come across when you live with them for a while :)

I managed to get a late Quad 34, which will do.

So no longer in need for a 44.

I might get my Dad a turntable for his bedroom system, if anyone does have a turntable to sell, please send me a PM and tell me what you got. Maybe a systemdek?, be nice to have the IV. And please no Rega RB arms, we never liked how they sounded, to lackluster, no offense.
