I'll post more detail in the trade section but...........

I've just completed the first 'improved' Firebottle Plus phono stage with the circuit improvements that have percolated down from the KIN project.

Still using similar valves as previously and 'generic' polypropylene coupling capacitors but by crikey has the image definition leapt ahead

Hence the post title, am I offering too much? Of course not :mental: Really really pleased at the performance for the base model.

Here's a picture of the evenings listening perspective, just got Dire Straits 'Love Over Gold' on at the moment:

The Plus will be sent out to the first lucky recipient shortly :)

Err if its better than the Phono stage in the KIN then it must be very good indeed. Just how far can you go with this Alan!:)

No it's not as good as the KIN phono stage James :)

It's just that the improvement made to the base model Plus has closed the gap somewhat, making the Plus a bit of a bargain I think.

Ah - I see.

Just been to Worcester for a slap up meal at Cafe rouge and had a bit of time to kill so popped into HMV. It was like going back in a time warp. Never did I think I would see so much vinyl for sale again for sale in this shop and reasonably priced.
