Does anyone have a grade recommendation for Silicone Dampening Fluid for a Hadcock GH242?

No but you can buy some from Hadcock. Ok it's not cheap.

If you start with a thick fluid, you can thin it progressively until it suits your purposes with thin silicone oil. The oil usually comes in aerosols.

According to Turntable Basics 600000CST is recommended for Unipivots http://turntablebasics.com/silicone.html, however the general forum consensus favors 300000CST, any thoughts?

Anything higher than 300000CST is quite difficult to find without sourcing from overseas, there's a model shop in Wrexham, I'll pop in on my way home tonight and see what they have.

I would suggest a viscosity of 100,000cS for unipivots. The fluid supplied by SME for their damping trough is 200,000cS, you could try thinning that down.
