My cat Frankie clearly has had an eventful night!
I'll be on the phone to Adam Audio then. The Thorens upgrades will have to wait sadly!

A spot of super glue will work wonders on that.

Practice opening the slit between finger tips, then when you have mastered it put a spot of glue on the open edges.
Super glue works so well on rubber that I have temporarily shortened rubber drive belts by cutting a bit out and sticking the ends together :mental:

While this is a reasonable and rational response, a slightly kinder alternative would be to start over-feeding the cat. It'll soon be too fat to think about jumping that high :)

Seriously though, thanks for the tip Alan. I'll give that a go.
Sound wise however the tear doesn't seem to make a difference.
