I'm sitting here listening to my father's Audio Note AN-J/B Speakers. I simply like how they communicate the music in such an ''non analytical'' way. But are indeed still revealing enough to show up a bad recording!
I believe the ''B'' just stands for their colour- black. Anyway, these pair have the standard ordinary wiring/parts inside. None of fancy stuff you get with the spe/spx versions.
These particular J's have grill covers, and have the old school AN logo. Age wise, I'm guessing these are from the mid 90's.
Don't let their ugly, out of date looks put you off. Worth a listen IMO!
