Evening,
Got a pair of old Goodmans Mezzo Twin Kit for sale. As I understand it, these were the DIY version of the respected Mezzo SL.
Made (according to the baffle) by a chap called Terry Williams in January 1978, these have a substantial 10" paper cone bass driver in a huge cast frame. They also have the well regarded Mezzo tweeter.
In good working order with all drivers functioning well. A quite forward, detailed sound but with good punch from that big driver. Would suit a warm system I would think.
Terry did a good job as they are still in pretty good nick. There are some light scratches and the odd small chip in the veneer but nothing serious. I've given them a wax and polish and they look pretty decent.
One of the bass cones has a light scratch on it but it's only on the surface and hasn't creased or affected the shape, structure or strength of the cone.
I can send better resolution pictures via email if required.
I can't find any sort of reference price for these so how about £50 collected from just outside Bicester (M40, J9)? They are big and heavy so I think postage isn't really an option.
