Hi all,
Its time to let go of some of my stuff (a painful experience:()
Its in excellent condition and has never caused me any problems, even drove my Martin Logans when some of my solid state amps could'nt!
£300 + del, collection welcome from Cambridge area.
PM me for photos etc
Noooo!
If only this had been a few weeks ago, I'd have snapped it up... got the Yaqin instead now...
Good luck with the sale!
Jason
I wish I'd been born with confidence - it must be wonderful to build one of these, switch on and hopefully everything works first time..
I looked at the idea of one of their preamps with phono stages. The acquisition of my beloved Croft put paid to that idea and I wonder just how good Glenn's £350 preamp WITH built-in phono stage actually is...
Good luck with the sale.. :)

Dave, There's a fine line between confidence and a disregard for personal safety!!
...And to think I used to delve in the back of TV sets setting colour balance/greyscale, geometry and convergence on old ones.... I'm not sure I'd do it now after seeing the spark and hearing the BANG as I shorted out the old huge caps in the croft preamp, three weeks after the thing had been used (it now has smaller caps as recommended and a safety drain resistor as suggested by Glenn....).
You seem to be causing some concern over on WigWam (http://www.hifiwigwam.com/view_topic.php?id=45502&forum_id=31):smoking:.

One of the posters got it right, the syringe is for oil. Apart from basting turkeys and lubricating things I dread think what other might use it for!

Actually I have just send Hificricketboy a message through Ebay. I'm a bit pissed that he should suggest that my listing is dodgy. This could put someone off which is unfair especially when I have 430 positive feedback at 100%!!!
