Is it really worth that? It needs attention plus $700 for shipping in the U.S alone. How collectible is stuff like this, really?

it's pretty collectible I'd say... 1966 full valve R2R. Pretty cool!

It is super cool no argument there. I know there are some hard-core tape-heads out there, I was just wondering if the price was realistic.
