Welcome bacobits,
We have quite a few recent new members from your side of the pond - the more the merrier, all are welcome.
The usual first questions are: -
What is your first name? We tend to use first names a lot as it adds to the friendly atmosphere
What sort of music do you like?
Could you post a few pics if your set up in the Gallery area please? - we like lots of pics here :)
If you have any questions, just ask away, this place is awash with knowledge, skill, expertise and experience, (none of it mine, alas  ), all freely given where requested.
Get stuck in and enjoy a long and fruitful stay.
Cheers,

PS Sorry about the listing numbers - still trying to work out how these things work :) ).

Hi Den - guessing you edited your post to show your name after Dave asked, unless he's having one of his "moments" - like all his bullet points being numbered "1" - Dave, you've taken this DAC lark too far if you can now only count in binary!

Anyway, welcome, have fun on here - they're a pretty good bunch, and great to have you with us.

Ahh, I love the absolute diverse contrasting systems here.
This really is a very objectified expensive hobby.

I want to know why we are never next door to each other?
That has never worked out for me that way. Never had a cool neighbor like that
I also think we are getting to be a dying breed.
AND, we are all middle aged.

Again, thanks for the warm welcome.

I presume this forum was created around Jan. 08?
I was just wondering.

Hi Steve,

Is that Decware Equipment I see in your "Past and Present" Photos?

It is that equipment I had for quite some time that first got me into tubes and
later single drivers. I had a pair of Steve's Sig Monos for about 6 years. Probably the longest I ever kept anything. I ran them with an Audible Illusions M3 pre and later an MFA Magus 3A which I loved. It was a killer system and I regret selling it.

Hi Den. You are correct, Decware select and pre. They are excellent, and were it not for the fact that I will soon require a bit more 'oomph' they would still be here.

:)
