View Full Version : How flat should an LP be?

I know the answer to this is "perfectly flat", but in the real world what are acceptable tolerances on a new L.P.?

I just took back a dished copy of the new Sleaford Mods album, and the replacement is very slightly warped. It's kind of annoying as I paid £16 for it, and I am probably unlikely to take it back, but I just wondered how much of a dick customer it was acceptable to be?

no more than a couple of mm in am ideal world. but if its spread over a fairly big area you can get away with more ok warp wise.. Dishing is fairly common in new albums but again a couple of mm tops

Thanks Grant.
This isn't worse than that. Just a slight undulating.

And it's green, which is always nice.
