View Full Version : [FS] Sony SCD-555ES SACD/CD battleship build player

Yet another change of direction means that up for grabs is 14.5kgs of top end "Made in Japan" all metal battleship build Sony SCD-555ES SACD/CD player, in full glorious working order complete with its OEM main lead, UK plug, German instructions (purchased via eBay.de - the photos below are of the same player from the same source too) and OEM box. I'll also throw in a free pair of NVA Sound Cord interconnects and not the cheap'n'cheerful interconnects seen in the last photo. This baby really is a beast and must rank amongst the heaviest pieces of hi-fi kit I've had the pleasure to own. It is in fantastic condition externally with no marks on its fascia or case. The only negative is that one of the buttons on the remote has lost its markings, but this doesn't effect its effortless operation, both with standard CD's or SACD's:

Sunday bump lads'n'lasses... and I'm off work tomorrow (Monday) so can ship so this is with you on Tuesday/Wednesday... you won't find a better example of this player, unless you have access to a time machine and can visit a dealer with one in his stockroom :D
