for the last couple of my music 'sessions' i have been using either a Quad 520f or Sony 55ES power amps , but tonight i am going back to the 'bottles' and have put the Beard P100 Monoblocks into service . first on the turntable is Diana Krall 'masterpiece "Love Scenes' (now costs around £40 but worth every penny) , and i have got to say the 'Big Black Buggers' are sounding wonderful !!!

i can richard, and that is more important !! , you still wouldn't hear them even if i put a pic up , if this is the type of attitude that one receives on AOS , perhaps i had better not post anymore ?? i try to mention albums to people in case they have missed them in the past , and surely that is more important than looking at pics of peoples systems ?
Hi Alf, I've never managed to upload any pictures either - really can't be bothered with all the faffing that seems to be required. There are plenty of people here who are happy to talk about equipment/music so don't be put off.

the only time pics are justified is when one is selling a piece of gear andwants to show the condition other than that it is 'Willy waving' (to quote somebody on this site)

You know, for around twenty five years I rode various Ducati's and I would go to endless bike nights where strangers would parade around staring at mine and others bikes...!!! How odd...!! Never did understand the need to stare at other peoples gear...!

I remember the recording quality of one of Diana Krall's albums was completely dire. Can't remember which one it was because I threw my CD copy in the bin.

Hifi is fun as well.
Just cos I love hifi - and love looking at pics of it - does not (necessarily) mean that I don't love music, too. ;)
Maybe there's a minimum cranial capacity below which two things cannot be enjoyed simultaneously. :eyebrows:

That's not what the comments [and pics] say, posted on Facebook! :eyebrows:

They do, it's called tapatalk:)
BTW, uploading photos couldn't be easier even without tapatalk, just upload your photos to photo bucket or similar and when you've done that click on 'image' from the five or so options when you click on the photos in photobucket and then just paste wot you've copied into the 'insert image' dialogue that opens up when you click the third button from the right in the tool bar when you making a post and et-voila!
yeah i use tapatalk mostly now from. the tablet or phone with pics. easy peasy. no hosting needed

Can't hear your amps either, so why bother telling us?it is because of comments like the above that I decided to join other more friendly and less analy retentive sites that are not obsessed with wanting pics of everything !! as I said in one of my other posts , I can understand the need for pics when selling kit , but otherwise why pics when the yhread is about music ??
Hi Alf,
You replied to Richard's (admittedly somewhat catty) remark last month [see your post #5, here:http://theartofsound.net/forum/showthread.php?39878-Big-Black-Buggers&p=672798#post672798] ], so why bring it up again now?

: hi marco , my pc has been down and when I got another and was checking through my posts I found Richards remarks. I was miffed again so decided to have another 'dig' at his (very catty)remark !! I like to post and mention music so as to spread the word about music that I enjoy and hope to pass on , in case somebody has 'missed' it 'first time round'
Ok, matey. I understand, but best leave it there now and move on :)
Marco.
