I have for sale a black Rega DAC . I've been using this excellent DAC for the last year or so .

It works perfectly and is in very good condition with a couple of light marks commensurate with careful use .

Comes in original box with power cable .

Withdrawn from sale .

Good luck with the sale mate, a crackin' Dac very musical.

I've been thinking about getting one of these and have missed a few slight seconds on ebay. Is this the earlier or later version Brian? I don't mean DAC r but does it have cloverleaf or IEC input.

Hi Paul , this DAC has the cloverleaf input . I can supply a cloverleaf to IEC adaptor if you want it.

Hi Brian,

Ideally I would have liked the later version in case I end with an Apollo R so that they match in size but as that is not a given yet it is not critical.

Unfortunately I don't have the funds to use Paypal gift without resorting to a credit card and adding about a tenner to the cost. I'd like to take longer to think about it, so if you get any other interest don't wait for me.

Not a problem Paul. Thanks .

Sound wise there is nothing between the cloverleaf version or the IEC version

I used a cloverleaf version for quite a while and they are fantastic sounding Dac's and superb value for money... GLWTS Brian...

That one looks to be 'full depth' from the pics.

Just to confirm from personal listening. the DAC IS better than an Apollo R on its own.

Don't think it is Dave . It's not as long as the Brio R mate . I haven't tried the Apollo R , the DAC just seems to suit my musical tastes . I was only considering selling due to the arrival of a very large ( non hifi ) bill  I'll just have to curtail the wifes spending on handbags and shoes instead . She just doesn't know it yet :eyebrows:
